The number two executive of the famous Facebook Meta parent company has resigned. Sheryl Sandberg, the company’s chief operating officer (COO), has been with Facebook for 14 years. He has been instrumental in making Facebook a major social media company since its inception.

Four years before Facebook went public, he was seen as the most talked about face after the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. Before Facebook, Sandberg also worked at Google. He has been replaced by Javier Olivan as the new COO of Facebook.
